The Old Rosarian

While the name 'The Old Rosarian' does indeed refer to our host, who is retired but anonymous, it also refers to the old roses he(?) grows; 'old' in the sense that these are roses that have been grown for a long time, centuries, in some cases. The number of roses is astounding and they are separated into logical categories, 'species' (the original wild strains), 'gallicas' (Frenche roses), 'damasks' (the most highly-scented Middle-Eastern roses), etc. The great attraction is the beautiful photographs and captions.
